Joe Berlinger is an Academy Award and seven-time Emmy nominated filmmaker. His landmark documentaries include the Paradise Lost trilogy, Brother’s Keeper, Metallica: Some Kind of Monster, and Crude, a film about pollution in the Amazon rainforest that won 22 awards.

In addition to Intent to Destroy, Berlinger recently completed a documentary about Tony Robbins, as well as Killing Richard Glossip, a chilling investigation of a former motel manager sentenced to die for orchestrating a murder that he swears he had nothing to do with. Upcoming projects include a true crime series based on Truman Capote’s In Cold Blood and a feature film starring Zac Efron.

Throughout his varied career, Berlinger has brought to his films a talent for dogged investigation and a deep respect for the human condition.
